Garth Anderson is a trumpet performer and educator with a Master’s in trumpet performance from Northern Illinois University (2011) and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from DePaul University (2009). He teaches beginning band and general music in Sycamore Public Schools and performs with the Chicago Metropolitan Brass Ensemble, Fox Valley Orchestra, and DuPage Symphony. Garth is also the personnel manager for the Wheaton Municipal Band and Fox Valley Orchestra. He has been teaching private lessons since 2004, with several students achieving All-State honors or pursuing music in college.
